Do you recycle my trash?
Yes, Advance Disposal recycles for you! While most cities ask their customers to separate their own trash, we ask that you simply put everything into your trashcan or trash bin. We then process/sort your trash from your recyclables at our Material Recovery Facility (MRF). This helps us retrieve as much recycling material as possible, and diverts recyclables from going to the landfill with the trash.
What can go in my trashcan?
Normal household trash and recyclables. Your trashcan must not weigh more than 200 pounds. Large animal waste and hazardous waste are not allowed. Please click here to see all Advance Disposal, City and County Rules and Regulations. You may also contact our Customer Service department for bin or non-allowable waste information.
Is one trashcan enough?
If you feel that you need an extra trashcan every week, simply contact our Customer Service department and we will deliver another trashcan to your home or business. If you feel you will fill more than one trashcan on only one or two occasions, please contact our Customer Service department for an ‘extra trash pick-up’. One way or another, we will get your trash picked up!
What time will my driver be at my house?
It is almost impossible for us to give an exact time that your driver will arrive at your home or business. Meeting all of our customers’ needs and allotting for unexpected incidents can affect the drivers’ arrival times. Also, please see our Holiday Schedule for amended pickup days. Generally, your trash should be picked up between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for residents, and between 5:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. for commercial customers.
Why can’t I use my own trash cans?
In most all of our service areas, we use automated trucks. These trucks are callipered to pick up certain types of trashcans. Automation helps to speed up the collection process in addition to meeting state requirements.
What do I do when I have just a clean-up of acreage or extra trash from my garage?
We have several trash bin services. Please check our ‘Bin Information’ webpage for information on size and capacity. You may also contact our Customer Service department by phone or email and they will provide you with more detailed information.
Do you have a senior rate?
