We see ALL types of birds.
From parrots to poultry,
raptors and rattites.
From barnyard and backyard
to bedroom and family room,
we love them all.
You name it -
if you have a bird, we can help you!
Our Veterinarian
Dr. Lintner has a fantastic bedside manner and excels at explaining medical information in easy to understand terms. She has been working with birds since 1984 and her 24+ years of experience means your bird will get the treatment it needs as well as the care and love it deserves. Would you like to learn more about her? This site has an interview and a short biography available. Check out The Learning Center and More About Us pages.
A Home Away From Home
We also offer high quality professional
boarding in a clean, friendly, and comfortable environment for your birds. We have different areas to meet different needs of individual birds.
Smaller birds are generally housed away from larger birds, and sensitive birds away from their noisier cousins.
Consider us a home away from home for your feathered family members! Yearly health exams are requested to help protect the health and safety of every bird that stays with us. Learn more about our boarding program and facilities by clicking here.
Polly Needs A Cracker!
Does your bird scream or bite? Have you ever wanted to teach your feathered friend how to talk, or perform on cue? How about trimming their nails without toweling them or going into their carrier on their own? We can show you how to do it using positive reinforcement training techniques!
We offer fun, helpful behavior assistance with personal consultations and bird training classes., and lest you think it's just for parrots, our behavior team has worked with ducks, pigeons and chickens as well!
If you are thinking about adding a bird to your family, we can also help you in creating the perfect match and setting up your home (and the relationship) for success! You will have a personal consultant to assist you through each step of the process, from choosing which bird to buy/adopt, to the cage and accessories set up and more. We will help you save $$ by showing how to invest in the best places for your dollar (like the cage), and how to save in other areas (like toys!).
*****Adoption is a Great Option!*****
We usually have several birds looking for a good family.
Currently available:
Keta - Blue & Gold Macaw
3 years old. Female. FUNNY!
Rambo - Blue & Gold Macaw
Adult. Female. Active
April - Double Yellow Headed Amazon
approx. 32 years old. Female. Sweet, and talks!
Skeeter - Umbrella Cockatoo
Approx. 17 years old. Sweet and active.
Our adoption process is simple. We're looking for people that are always motivated and interested in learning more about birds and are committed to providing good care.
Understand that parrots can be noisy and messy, but that there are great tools available to ensure a fantastic lifetime relationship between humans and parrots!
Adoptions include a cage or carrier whenever possible.
