Candler Oil Company, Inc Names New General Manager
Lynchburg, VA – Brian Travis has been named Vice President/General Manager of Candler Oil Co. This was announced by Cole Candler, President of the company. Mr. Travis has worked with Candler Oil Co. as a Vice President for 1 ½ years. He has worked in the petroleum industry for a total of 17 years. He’ll be responsible for the day-to-day business operations and will focus on expanding the company’s Lubricants Division.
According to Mr. Candler, “Brian has done an outstanding helping Candler Oil Co. grow and we’re excited about Brian providing more of that leadership and expertise.”
Mr. Travis graduated from E.C. Glass High School in 1977 and later in his career worked with Commonwealth Oil Co for 12 years. Brian and his wife Sandy have four children.

The company provides many excellent services including 24 hour service for residential Heating Oil and Kerosene, Carrier HVAC equipment, and a large inventory of Lubricants and Specialty Products for numerous area businesses. Lynchburg, VA – Candler Oil Company recently received the Employer/Employee Community Relations Award given annually by the Rotary Club of Lynchburg.
Rotary Club members nominate then carefully evaluate the nominees based on their community involvement both at the corporate and employee levels.
