For your convenience, you can now submit how ever many questions you would like answered below.  When we receive it, we will contact you as soon as possible.

Q - How much will my job cost?

A - Since no two houses are alike, every job will be priced differently.  The price differs with the size of the house or building,  the area and what the job consists of ( Moving, Raising, Rigging E.T.C ).

Q - Is it possible to move or raise my house or building?

As long as the structure is self supporting(meaning the structure is still supporting its own weight), it is movable.

Q - Is there a limitation on how far you can move or raise my home?

A - At Dawn, there are no physical limitations but utility wires such as Cablevision, Verizon, L.I.P.A  E.T.C must be removed if the structure is over height limitations.  The width and length of the structure can also make a house move difficult.

Q - Do you supply the permits or do I need to obtain them?

A - No, we do not supply the permits for your job. You will need to go directly to your town to obtain the appropriate permits.

Q - Do you excavate the basement or do I need to hire another contractor for that part?

A - We recommend that we excavate the basement for safety reasons, our employees are trained and know the proper measures to be taken while excavating under a house.

Q - What about my landscapes and driveways, will they be ruined?

A - Usually the grass around the structure will be ruined during the process.  Any trees that are in the way for our equipment will have to be removed.  Upon your request, we can usually save any driveway unless otherwise specified by us.

Q - Do you do the masonry work?

A - No we do not do any masonry work but we will gladly recommend high quality masons to you.

Q - Can I use parts of my old foundation and add on to it?

A - Although we do not recommended, many of our customers do use their old foundation and add on.

Q - Can additions(such as garages, sunrooms, porches) be moved?

A - Most additions can be moved. Dawn will determine if they are movable or not.
