History

Dawn House & Building Movers was founded by a pig farmer i n Yaphank over 80 years ago. In 1926, the farmer known as Mr. John Dawn started to relocate barns and small structures for local farmers as the farming industry started to fade. After Mr. Dawn retired, the business went to Walter Gordon and Edger Allen.
Stan Kazel grew up on a potato farm in Yaphank as a child. When the days were slow or the work was finished, Stanley would work with his uncles, Walter and Edger, moving houses across Long Island. At age 18, Stanley worked steady with his uncles until he purchase the company from them.
Since then, Stanley has introduced his three brothers and son into the business and together, they have left their mark on Long Islands House Moving industry. They lead Long Islands Structural Moving industry providing the latest and greatest equipment available to the industry, ensuring total safety and satisfaction. Mack Trucks, Jahns Structural Jacking Systems, Modern Hydraulics, Precision structural steel and much more have been factors in this companies great success threw the years.
