
Pre-School Gymnastics Classes: (Ages 2½ - Kindergarten Age):
The Olympiad Tumble Bees Program is designed to help develop each child's individual physical awareness and coordination. Large apparatus including Trampolines, mats, beams, bars, wedges, ropes, trapeze and small hand apparatus are used in conjunction with rhythmic and group activities to broaden each child's experience.

Pre-Honey Bee: Must be 2½ years old
Honey Bee: Must be 3 years old
Kinder Bee: Must be 4 years old
Gym Bee: Kindergarten Age

School Age Instructional Program (Grades 1 & Up): FALL - SPRING - SUMMER SEMESTERS
These classes are designed to progressively develop the basic skill technique in tumbling, balance beam, uneven parallel bars, vaulting, and trampoline for the new gymnastic student through the pre-team aspirant. Students are evaluated and placed into the proper ability level upon registration and advanced regularly throughout their training.
LEVEL DESIGNATIONS:
LEVEL 1: No previous experience/grades 1 & up
LEVEL 2: Can do a cartwheel/grades 1 & up plus 1 year prior experience
LEVEL 3: Grades 1 & Up Teacher evaluation is required
LEVEL 4: Teacher Referral Only

Olympiad Exhibition Team: Olympiad's exhibition team is designed for girls and boys who have achieved a degree of proficiency in their tumbling levels. The exhibition team performs for colleges, schools, community functions and in USA Gymnastic National Gymnastradas.

SPECIAL CONSULTANT: Ed Knepper
Collegiate & Elite coach; under his guidance the Olympiad Club has progressed to National Prominence. Formerly, Ed was Executive Director of the United States Association of Independent Gymnastic Clubs & past president of the USA Gymnastics.

SCHOOL DIRECTOR: Pat Knepper
Bachelor of Science in Physical Education. Former Elite NAWGJ judge & USA Gymnastics state director.
OLYMPIAD POLICIES
LATE STARTS:
Students may start classes at anytime on a space available basis. The fee will be prorated and the first payment will include the registration/membership fee.
MAKE-UP POLICY:
Absence due to an illness must be made up in the same month. No credit is given for missed classes. Please call the office 302-656-3715 to schedule a make-up class.
ATTIRE:
Girls should wear leotards (no tights or nylons); Long hair pulled back. No gum or jewelry. T-Shirts & shorts are acceptable for boys. Bare feet (no sneakers). Leotards & T-Shirts are available for purchase at both Valley Road & Peoples Plaza locations or can be ordered from the office.
CLASS INFORMATION:
All classes are coeducational and are conducted one time per week unless otherwise stated.
GYM SHOW:
All students are invited to participate in the Annual Gymnastic show which is conducted at a local High School in May.
SNOW DAYS INFORMATION:
Cancellation due to snow or other adverse weather conditions will be announced on WSTW, WDEL, & WJBR. Also check the Olympiad web site & office.
INSURANCE:
Excess accident/medical insurance provided for each participant.
