WE ARE NONSECTARIAN AND COEDUCATIONAL.

Founded in 1962, MARK COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL has an Absolute Charter issued by the State Education Department of New York. As a nonsectarian, coeducational elementary school, we serve children from nursery through sixth grade. We provide a positive atmosphere conducive to learning, a strong curriculum taught by New York State certified educators and an extensive facility. We also offer an exceptional summer day camp program for young people, ages three to fourteen.

Our philosophy of education at MARK COUNTRY DAY is humanistic in tone. Caring professionals provide that special love and understanding so necessary to a child's sense of individuality and self-worth. A happy, warm environment fosters a true love for learning and the self-motivation so important to the realization of one's full potential. Self-esteem, lovingly instilled and carefully nurtured, is the basis for all teacher/student interactions.
