We are acutely aware of the value of ongoing communication between school and parent in developing a positive learning experience. To this end:

• We send a monthly newsletter to every family highlighting the achievements of our students, listing special events and keeping parents informed.
  
• We schedule regular parent/teacher conferences and provide for special activities which invite parent participation.
  
• Our OPEN HOUSE policy allows parents to visit school at any time and stay as long as they like. What a great way to encourage positive interaction among students, teachers and parents!

  MARK COUNTRY DAY SCHOOL is situated on nine acres of prime land in the South Shore community of Bay Shore. Our modern indoor facilities have been designed to meet the educational needs of our students. A new gymnasium enhances our Physical Education program and provides an excellent arena for schoolwide cultural arts programs. Outdoor recreational and athletic facilities include:
