A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, Dr. Von Poelnitz went on to complete her internship and residency at The New York Hospital, Cornell Medical Center. She also completed a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at Mount Sinai Medical Center in New York City.
