Mr. Munoz originally comes from Austin, Texas. Upon graduating from Boston College in 1992 with a degree in accounting, he attended Seton Hall University School of Law, where he obtained his law degree in 1995. Upon graduating from law school, Mr. Munoz clerked for a Family Part Judge Paul M. DePascale in Hudson County, New Jersey. Since that time, Mr. Munoz has practiced primarily in family law related matters. He is a member of both the Union and Middlesex County Bar Associations as well as their Family Law Sections. He is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association, its Family Law Section, and its Family Law Executive Committee. Mr. Munoz has served as a panelist in the Union County Early Settlement Program since 1996. He is a past Vice-Chair of the District XII Fee Arbitration Committee, and is currently serving in the District XII Ethics Committee.
Mr. Munoz recently completed a 40 hour Family Law mediation training program and is now offering his services as a family law mediator, as an alternative to litigating matters. The benefit of mediation is that it allows parties to control their fate, rather than letting someone else decide for them how best to resolve their matter.
