Cleanings
We provide exceptional cleaning services which include fireplaces, stove flues, inserts and heating flues. Every cleaning includes a 20 point inspection of your chimney and flues to assure that your system is working properly and is safe for use. We also offer replacement stove pipe and fireplace accessories (i.e. ash dump doors, damper handles, etc.) for your heating system.
We also provide our 20 point inspection as a separate service for our customers who are not sure if cleaning is needed or are in need of a repair.
Chimney Caps
We offer Gelco stainless steel and copper chimney caps to prevent the entry of animals, weather and leaves and debris that can sometimes lead to a blockage in your chimney. Every chimney cap from Gelco includes stainless steel screening welded right into the cap to protect against airborne embers and sparks.
Your chimney is an unusual size? We can have a custom sized cap made for your chimney!! And all Gelco chimney caps come with a Lifetime Warranty from the manufacturer against rust, corrosion or manufacturers' defects.
Water Repellent
We provide the best in water repellents available today! By having us apply ChimneySaver to your chimney, you can prevent water from damaging your chimney.
Masonry chimneys can become porous and allow water to soak in like a sponge. If you have had your roof and chimney flashing repaired or inspected and find that you cannot find a solution, it could be that your chimney is in need of a water repellent.
ChimneySaver is not a waterseal like most products you will find in your local hardware store. Waterseals remain on the surface of your chimney and trap water vapors. ChimneySaver water repellent actually penetrates deep enough to protect masonry from destructive water penetration. And it comes with a 10 year manufacturer's warranty!
Top Sealing Dampers
Our company offers Lyemance top sealing dampers as a replacement for an original damper. A Lyemance top sealing damper can be up to 10 times more efficient in preventing heat loss than a new throat damper. They are made of durable aluminum and won't rust or warp causing heat loss like a conventional throat damper can.
A Lyemance top sealing damper is low profile and will reduce damaging moisture from the weather while also preventing animals and debris from entering your chimney flue. It can also prevent downdrafts and is easy to operate.
Stove, Insert and Fireplace Installation
Sandwich Chimney Sweep offers a variety of stove, insert and fireplace installations. You provide the unit and we will do the rest! We will install your wood, coal or *gas stove, insert or fireplace professionally and with an eye for beauty. Our installations must comply with Massachusetts building codes so you can be assured of getting a safe operating system.
*We can provide installation of venting for gas stoves, inserts and fireplaces, however, any gas lines necessary to fuel your gas unit must be installed by a licensed plumber or gas technician.
Selkirk Metalbestos Chimney Systems
You want a stove but do not have a chimney? The solution is a Selkirk Metalbestos chimney system. A Metalbestos insulated chimney will provide a safe system for your stove. It can also vent your new or existing gas or oil appliance. A Metalbestos chimney also carries a manufacturers 10 year warranty.
Stainless Steel Relining
If you have an unlined chimney or have damaged existing flue tiles, a stainless steel liner is the way to go. It is more economical than rebuilding your chimney and costs less than most cast in place liners. BELLFIRE Fireplace Systems
We offer BELLFIRE refractory fireplace systems. A BELLFIRE fireplace is essentially a firebox composed of three components, all precast in refractory materials. It has a half-pear design which radiates and reflects heat back into the room. The BELLFIRE burns wood better, easier and more completely than the conventional fireplace. Radiant heat leaving the BELLFIRE firebox has been measured in excess of 450 degrees F. and room temperature increases of 15 degrees within an hour are not an uncommon occurrence.
