In your kitchen the countertops are exposed to all sorts of damaging items. Certain foods, oils and many other items can damage the finish. Using a non abrasive cleaner like HMK P-1 will keep your surface free of stains and will not harm the original seal.
To restore the sheen on your stone countertop you may also use a polish in conjunction with the cleaner. We recommend HMK P-19. This product will return your shine, repel water and actually enhance the seal already on the surface. Your countertops will be protected and will look similar to when first installed.
Proper maintenance of your stone is crucial to having it looks great for years. Always make sure you thoroughly rinse and dry the surface after cleaning. For cleaning we recommend weekly use of HMK P-24.
Remember you must clean up spills immediately especially acidic juices like vinegar & lemon. Use coasters or trivets under surfaces. DO NOT use cleaners that contain acid such as bathroom cleaners, grout cleaners or tub and tile cleaners.
