How soon can I get an appointment?
We have appointments reserved on a daily basis for emergencies. Routine appointments should never take more than two to four weeks to schedule.

Will I have to spend hours in the waiting room?
We know that your time is valuable and we are therefore committed to keeping your wait time to a minimum (usually 1/2 hr. to an hour). New patients may require additional time to fill out paperwork and are requested to arrive 15-20 minutes early.

How long will the doctor spend with me?
Dr. Bernard is committed to personalized healthcare and will take enough time with each patient to listen to and answer your questions as well as discuss results and explain medical conditions.

How long does it take for the doctor to answer a phone call?
Although the doctor is busy during the day, he tries to take time between patients, at lunch and at the end of each day to personally return phone calls. He is also available through his answering service 24 hours a day for emergencies.

Is the office staff courteous and responsive?
Valley Womancare's staff has been hand picked by Dr. Bernard for their expertise, experience and empathy. They are regularly complimented by our patients for their outstanding care and genuine concern.

Do I have to see my primary care physicians to get an appointment with you?
No. Most insurances will allow a woman to self-refer to a gynecologist.
